After kicking off in Adelaide and Perth last week, the Broker Business Forum train rolled through Brisbane and Melbourne this week 💜💛 . One of the most valuable aspects of our BBFs is the opportunity for brokers to receive targeted updates relevant to the markets in which they operate. We've brought that to life in two ways at this BBF series: 1️⃣ Peter Munckton, Chief Economist at BOQ has joined us on the road to provide local market updates in each state, giving brokers access to key insights so they can seize the moment and truly thrive 2️⃣ We've dedicated part of the event to a new segment - channel breakouts, where our mobile and retail brokers have been able to receive updates specific to their own channel, including how to best leverage technology, campaigns, support, and more to maximise their business growth. . Over the weekend, we dressed up the finish line of the Adelaide Marathon in purple, and invited running enthusiasts to go the 'Aussie Extra Mile'. For every participant that ran an additional kilometer after the race, Aussie pledged to donate four meals to families in need through OzHarvest. As a result of the Aussie Extra Mile initiative, nearly 6000 meals will be provided to families in need 💜💛 . The day was such a buzz, and a huge shoutout goes out to our brokers and franchisees who came along on the day, whether they took on the run themselves, hooked runners up with a caffeine fix, or cheered everyone on to run the extra mile. Safe said, there is no better hype crew than an Aussie broker hype crew 💪 . We've partnered with the Adelaide Marathon Festival to launch the Aussie Extra Mile initiative, supporting families in need 💜💛 . On 25th August, running enthusiasts will take to the start line to tackle the Adelaide Marathon, and they're all invited to do a little bit extra to make a difference. For every participant that runs an additional kilometre after the finish line, Aussie will donate four meals to those in need through OzHarvest, Australia's leading food rescue organisation. As an added incentive for the speedsters out there, Aussie will also donate 2,000 meals on behalf of the first person to cross the finish line 🏃♂️ . OzHarvest survey results have found that food insecurity is rising, with 75% of food charities reporting an increase in demand for food over the past six months. As a business that prides itself on supporting Australian families, these statistics are very concerning, and highlight why this partnership matters so much to us.
