We are excited for the commencement of structural steel work on a major complex industrial project in NSW! After months of meticulous analysis and planning, we have successfully completed our first week with the installation of the initial modularised wall and roof panels, featuring structural steel members and preinstalled cold rolled purlins and girts. This innovative approach by the team allows for ground-level fit-up, significantly reducing the risk of falls from height and optimising lifting requirements on site. A big thank you to our delivery partners and site team for their dedication to excellence and hard work! 👏✨ #BuildingTheBestTogether #IndustrialBuilder

Project Completion! | Works recently wrapped up at Gold Coast University Hospital’s new Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit. Our Chief Executive Officer Mark Baker, General Manager – QLD, NT & NZ Wade Cummins and Project Manager Jackson Bailey joined Queensland Health and Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service representatives for the official opening earlier this month. The facility is the first secure mental health rehabilitation unit on the Gold Coast and includes consulting and therapy rooms, interview spaces, 40 bedrooms as well as essential medical support areas. 🏥 This incredible project once again showcased our team’s expertise in delivering complex health infrastructure within a live environment. Over 1,500 people were inducted onto the project, contributing a total of 449,166 hours worked with an impeccable safety record. Construction of the facility also positively impacted the local economy. All subcontractors were sourced from South East Queensland and the project supported more than 115 apprentices and trainees, employed 39 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, and included 34 women in the workforce. ✨ Congratulations to our project team on this incredible achievement! #BuildingTheBestTogether #HealthBuilders

Building enduring local legacies | It’s been five years since Queensland Country Bank Stadium opened! Our team leveraged their extensive and deeply ingrained experience in North Queensland to ensure the stadium was constructed by locals, for locals. 🏟️ ✨ Central to the project's success was ensuring high engagement with local businesses, an outcome made possible by breaking down trade packages and upskilling local capability to enable greater participation. Around 490 local businesses were engaged, delivering over 85 per cent of works and injecting more than $163 million into the local economy. The iconic venue, with its geometrically complex horseshoe-shaped structure inspired by the tropical pandanus plant, has become a cornerstone of the Townsville community, hosting unforgettable sports, entertainment, and community events. #BuildingTheBestTogether #QueenslandCountryBankStadium #StadiumsBuilder

Commencing main construction works in October 2024, our team at Ipswich Hospital Expansion project has had a busy start to the new year with the installation of two cranes. Surrounded by main arterial roads and adjacent to the existing hospital, the installation of the cranes required expert planning and occurred in the evening to minimise disruptions. 🏗️ 🏥 These Liebherr 160 HC-L luffing cranes from our own fleet will be joined by a third tower crane shortly, with all three cranes remaining in place for the next two years to help deliver this crucial piece of health infrastructure for the West Moreton region. ✨ The cranes are capable of lifting loads greater than 8t and will have a lifting capacity of 3t when at maximum jib radius which are of lengths of between 45-55m. They are further fitted with state-of-the-art anti-collision systems. The tower cranes play an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the site, being used to transport heavy prefabricated concrete members, steel, concrete, facade elements and movement of the major plant equipment when it arrives. #BuildingTheBestTogether #IpswichHospitalExpansion #HealthcareInfrastructure Queensland Health West Moreton Hospital and Health Service
