We’ve been appointed as the construction partner for the new $320m Mount Barker Hospital Development, delivered for the Department for Infrastructure and Transport and the Department for Health and Wellbeing. “Delivering critical health infrastructure is at the core of what we do, and this project will significantly expand healthcare capacity for the region. We are proud to be building a state-of-the-art hospital that will support the community’s growing population for years to come. Recently we held a site tour for members of NAWIC NSW - National Association of Women in Construction at our 33 Alfred Street project, the redevelopment and restoration of Sydney’s first skyscraper, which we co-hosted alongside Dexus. Attendees got to see the project up close and hear about the range of works involved in restoring the iconic tower, including a new high-performance façade. 33 Alfred Street was the first building in Sydney to break the city’s height limit and Australia’s tallest building at the time it was built in 1962, standing at 117 metres and 26 storeys. Owned by Dexus Wholesale Property Fund and Mirvac Wholesale Office Fund, the redeveloped building will integrate into Quay Quarter, Sydney’s newest precinct. The highly anticipated Coopers, world-class visitor centre, microbrewery, and whisky distillery at Regency Park has officially opened to the public. The new centre’s curved design, by Studio Nine Architects, is inspired by the Coopers roundel label and also includes a sloping amphitheatre which showcases the brewery grounds and the malting plant. The team were proud to have delivered this landmark project for the Coopers Family. “We wanted every aspect to be truly world-class and of the highest quality. It’s a significant, long-term investment by our family company and our vote of confidence in the future of Coopers and Australia’s manufacturing industry,” Dr Tim Cooper, Managing Director said. The project includes a new restaurant, three bars, an expansive outdoor plaza, family areas, a dedicated tasting room, a microbrewery, a whisky distillery, an interactive history display, guided tours, and an underground stillage capable of housing 5,000 whisky barrels.
