  • Wanneroo Council has endorsed a Preliminary Foreshore Management Plan (PFMP) for Yanchep Lagoon, with a subsequent Foreshore Management Plan (FMP) in the works. The PFMP is characterised by a light-touch approach to foreshore development that prioritises the protection of its natural features in order to protect the Lagoon’s well-established sense of place. This aligns well with the City’s Strategic Community Plan 2021-2031 for a well-planned, safe and resilient City that is easy to travel around and provides a connection between people and places. The FMP will now be developed in collaboration with the local community and various State Government agencies. More info: https://ow.ly/uquB50V7nj3
