🌟 Championing Unrestricted Funding in 2025 🌟
As an innovative, performance-driven not-for-profit, we’re dedicated to fostering greater collaboration and transparency between charities and funders. This year, we are making a special effort to promote the benefits of unrestricted, untied, Pay What it Takes funding.
We’re an open book and we invite trusts, foundations, philanthropists, and intermediaries who want to take a closer look at how we measure, monitor, and report on our progress toward our mission.
Book time with Naomi Nicholas, our Head of Community Engagement, for an in-depth conversation about:
📈 How we monitor and report on Cool.org’s KPIs.
🔍How we measure impact and evaluate the effectiveness of our work.
🚀 The transformational power of unrestricted funding to drive mission-aligned outcomes.

"2024 has been declared the hottest year on record, with global temperatures soaring to 1.6°C above pre-industrial levels—shattering the previous record set in 2023. This stark milestone confirms that global warming is accelerating at an alarming pace, far faster than in the previous decade. The time for half-measures is over. Australia and every nation must act with urgency to slash emissions and transition to a zero-carbon economy. The window to secure a livable future is closing—our choices today will define the planet for generations to come. The moment to act is now."
Anika Molesworth, PhD
It’s never been more urgent to understand and communicate the realities of climate change. But how do we teach this to educators and students in a way that inspires hope and action?
We’ve partnered with the legendary Dr. Anika Molesworth to create online professional learning courses. Our courses take a balanced approach, teaching climate science and solutions, while emphasising both individual and collective actions.

In collaboration with AIME, we’re proud to launch four workshops and a professional learning course designed to help educators shift from traditional teacher-student dynamics to mentor-mentee relationships, unlocking relational potential, bridging cultural gaps and nurturing collective and individual imagination within the classroom.
The workshops empower young people to design their dream learning spaces, explore the importance of goal setting, become comfortable in learning through failure and learn from and with local knowledge holders.
The professional learning course equips educators with strategies for understanding, connecting with, and teaching all students, with a focus on First Nations students. It also explores the core values of mentoring.
It’s been an honour collaborating with AIME to create these impactful resources—together, we’re reimagining education and mentorship.
