These lessons empower individuals to determine the reliability and intention behind different sources and make informed decisions, especially in the context of our democracy and climate future. These 7 units of learning are designed to: ⭐ Build media literacy, critical thinking and analytical skills ⭐ Engage students in meaningful discussion and action around environmental challenges ⭐ Foster sustainable behaviours ⭐ Support proactive community engagement A huge thank you to Boundless Earth for their invaluable support in making this project possible! This tool allows teachers to select and view from the available curriculum directly within the resource—V8.4, V9.0, VIC or NSW —ensuring the materials align with the specific curriculum areas they need to teach. This significantly streamlines their lesson planning, empowering educators to focus more on inspiring students and less on searching for materials. We are so grateful and excited to have been awarded one of this year's auDA - .au Domain Administration Ltd. Foundation Community Grants 🎉 The auDA Foundation is a very forward-thinking funder. After the wonderful awards night pictured below, the Foundation hosted a half-day Digital Inclusion Workshop with all the grant recipients. We discussed key issues such as access, co-design, the pros and cons of generative AI, IP, data ethics and sovereignty, community and connection via the internet, and, most importantly, collaborated with each other to amplify our collective impact. Anika Molesworth, PhD, is a farmer, scientist, and storyteller, widely recognised for her work in agriculture, food systems, and raising climate change awareness.
