Congratulations Sydney Symphony Orchestra on appointing Charles H Buchanan as Director of Marketing, starting in August. Charles joins the SSO from Detroit Symphony Orchestra where he was Senior Director, Marketing and Audience Development and led strategic revenue growth and marketing innovation that expanded the orchestra’s reach into new audiences. Reporting to CEO Craig Whitehead, Charles will be part of the SSO’s senior leadership team and will work collaboratively across the organisation to bring fresh thinking and strategic leadership that fosters high-performance, marketing innovation and sustainable growth. Hybrid in her skill-set, Harriet also spent a number of years as an agency practitioner, working at a number of the UK’s most high profile agencies including BBH London and Karmarama (now Accenture Song). The Membership Division that Victoria will lead will be focused on transforming NRMA to better leverage their trusted brand reputation and bring sustained value to their members.   Victoria is simply a stand-out senior executive and leader. Mia Barry joins Red Bull Australia this week as their new Finance Director. She brings a wealth of commercial, finance experience and business acumen from a range of organisations including Oroton and Coca Cola Amatil. She will work closely with the new Managing Director, Sam Mostapha, taking a hands on approach managing the company’s finances as well as providing strategic advice across the business.    It was a pleasure working with Miles Wilson and Neil Walsh to place this role.
