On Friday 18th October, key clients in the Commonwealth sector gathered for lunch at #Maddocks Canberra to discuss critical concerns surrounding AI, including ethics, bias, governance, privacy, data protection, intellectual property, and liability. They also delved into national and international regulations, codes of conduct, and organisational rules as part of the response to the increase in #AI. We were joined by guest presenters Professor Nicholas Davis, Industry Professor of Emerging Technology at the University of Technology Sydney and Professor Jeannie Marie Paterson, Centre for AI and Digital Ethics (CAIDE) at the University of Melbourne. The lunch uncovered many insights on the impact of AI on the public sector, and the strategies and responses that could be adopted across the Australian #Government. Our #Commonwealth team are available for further discussion on how to navigate the impact and future of AI in the public sector. Contact them here: https://loom.ly/_W487rY
