We have shortlisted two consortiums for Marinus Link’s major civil construction tender and are calling on subcontractors to participate. TasVic Greenlink and Empower have entered a competitive and collaborative process for Marinus Link’s final Stage 1 major contract, which covers onshore civil and installation works, including constructing the converter station buildings and the land cable civil works. We are strongly encouraging Tasmanian and Victorian subcontractors to register their interest and attend Meet the Proponents events scheduled for late February. We have submitted our latest Revenue Proposal to the Australian Energy Regulator, relating to the costs of constructing Marinus Link. This is a significant milestone for the project and provides the clearest picture yet of Marinus Link’s investment cost and benefits to electricity consumers. The latest Revenue Proposal reflects diligence and collaboration across Marinus Link’s team and partners. We want to extend a thank you to the entire MLPL team who supported this process, including Collette Burke Prajit Parameswar, Ben Wagner, Dianna Andoni, Isaac Katz and Mike Sward. Today, we have had the pleasure of hosting our Gippsland Stakeholder Liaison Group (GSLG) on a cable route drive in sunny Gippsland! As we travelled down and around the hills of Gippsland we gave an on-the-ground project update and heard valuable contributions from our GSLG members. We want to thank our GSLG for their time and perspectives in 2024. We look forward to working with each of you as the project progresses in 2025!
