🚧 The Larsen Road pedestrian bridge is one step closer to connecting communities on either side of the rail corridor! With all beams lifted, some as heavy as 129 tonnes and spanning up to 40 metres, it took the power of two cranes to get the job done 💪 All bridge columns have been poured, and the southern deflection wall has been completed! ✅✅

Green Star rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ellenbrook Station has achieved a 6 Star Green Star ‘as-built’ certification rating 💚🏆 This makes Ellenbrook Station the highest rated Green Star rail station in Australia! This rating was achieved by using innovative materials, reducing energy and water consumption through construction and operation, incorporating Aboriginal art, native plants and design elements to ensure the station is safe and accessible 🌳 Well done to everyone involved! 👏

Footbridge truss overhead! 🏋️🏗 We’ve installed the truss for the Cameron Elliot footbridge. We used a 500 tonne crane to safely lift and place the steel structure into position. The footbridge will serve as a level-crossing between Elliot Place and Cameron Street to safely allow pedestrians and cyclists to cross between the two streets 🚶 🚴 Read more about the Thornlie-Cockburn Link project here: https://lnkd.in/g4VN4Vau

You’ve got RAIL! 📧 💯 The Morley-Ellenbrook Line project has now achieved 100% of the rail laid! 🎉🚆 🛤️ That’s a whopping total of 84,000 metres of fresh rail to make up the double track 21 kilometre line. What an incredible achievement! 👏 How did we do it? 58,645 sleepers laid! 25,383 tonnes of ballast! 4,996 tonnes of rail steel! A huge milestone for the project and moves us one step closer to the finish line for the Morley-Ellenbrook Line! 🙌 🚉

Futureproofing Perth’s public transport network! 🚊 We’re working towards building a transport network that doesn’t require timetabling with our High Capacity Signalling Project, making it possible for trains to run every 3 minutes. The project will be delivered in stages over the next decade to minimise disruptions to train operations. Read more about the project - link in comments.
