$1.5m Varex milestone achieved and technology transfer complete. Today Micro-X announced to the ASX the successful completion of technology transfer to Varex Imaging Corporation for high-voltage multi-beam X-ray tubes. Micro-X entered a long-term collaboration with Varex, the largest OEM manufacturer of X-ray tubes globally. Through this collaboration, Micro-X and Varex entered an exclusive global licensing agreement for Varex to use Micro-X Nano Electronic X-ray (NEX) Technology in multi-beam X-ray tubes. Micro-X is delighted to exhibit the Head CT and 1/4 scale ambulance to over 600 leading figures in stroke and interventional neurology at the Asia Pacific Stroke Conference 2024 today in Adelaide. Federal Health Minister Hon Mark Butler was among the notable guests, where he launched the Economic Impact of Stroke Report 2024 published by the Stroke Foundation. We are reminded that while there have been huge advances in stroke prevention and care, there is still more work to be done. On Sunday, a dedicated team of Micro-X employees and friends hit the pavement for the Lumary City to Bay event, running and walking to raise funds for The Hospital Research Foundation Group and their vital work in stroke research and recovery.
