About us
Patties Food Group is a true Australian success story, growing into a leading Australian manufacturer, supplier and marketer of branded frozen savoury, ready meals, dessert products and chilled products. In 1966, after working at their local bakery, Peter and Annie Rijs bought a small cake shop named Patties in Lakes Entrance, Victoria. Wanting to offer their customers more than just sweet treats, they introduced freshly baked bread rolls and delicious hot pies to the menu. The rest, as they say, is history. It wasn’t long before their business began to boom and bite by bite, the Patties legend began to grow. By the mid-80s, thanks to its famous pies, pastries and party food, Patties had become a household name. We’re now one of the leading Australian-owned frozen food companies and continue to build on the family’s vision to deliver great tasting, honest food to all Australians, no matter what the occasion. As an ASX listed company, we own a high quality portfolio of iconic Australian brands which include Four’N Twenty, Patties, Herbert Adams, Nanna’s, Ruffie Rustic Foods and Boscastle. We are so proud to feature in the new Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC) Sustaining Australia series. The short film is a testament to our sustainability goals and the journey we are on across the business. Our innovation team successfully created a packaging solution that can withstand thousands of kilometres of transportation, sub-zero temperatures and the heat of an oven. Developing, manufacturing, and delivering products in paper packaging is no mean feat, and after years of innovation and development, we are thrilled to share the story of the people that made it happen. Thank you to our long-term partners at Ritchies Stores IGA for coming on board with the trial of Four’N Twenty’s paper packaging.

Last week, the In Home team from Patties Food Group engaged in a unique and impactful team-building day by volunteering at Foodbank Victoria. Our team collaborated to pack the equivalent of 15,388 meals, directly contributing to the support of Victorians in need. Well done team! #givingback
Last week the In Home team from Patties Food Group experienced a very different team day. Wanting to do something more ‘meaningful’ together as a team, we volunteered for Foodbank Victoria and packed the equivalent of 15,388 meals for Victorians doing it tough. It feels amazing to know that with our help, Foodbank Victoria is feeding the equivalent of an MCG crowd every two days!!! That’s 100,000 people who live in our cities, towns and local neighbourhood.
