  • Panel discussions look a little different in 2025, don’t they? Especially with almost a thousand people spread across four markets in just our Customer & Technology business unit! Andre Bertrand and Sindhu Samuel took this selfie with Anita Matuszewski, Kellie Hebrard, Dayna Franulovic, and Janelle Munro after hosting the ‘Women in C&T’ session during their latest quarterly learning, innovation, and sharing day (which included half a dozen other sessions). The panel talked about fostering innovation, driving operational efficiencies, and career journeys. From Social Media Lead to the Operations Engineer role we're currently recruiting for, there are many roads you can take with Transurban. https://lnkd.in/gnwCPFwQ

  • Stay safe Queenslanders – our thoughts are with you during this challenging time. Our Brisbane traffic control room team will be keeping an extra-close eye on our roads as Cyclone Alfred makes its way towards South East Queensland. Please avoid any unnecessary travel over the coming days, drive to conditions, and comply with all road signage and directions.

If you drive along the freeway west of Melbourne, you may have spotted this new structure. Travelling outbound, you'll pop out of the West Gate Tunnel here. We're bringing you a new alternative to the West Gate Bridge, new express lanes and faster travel times.

    • Construction site of the West Gate Tunnel Project in Melbourne, featuring a large, distinctive arch and various construction vehicles and equipment on the road.
  • Our latest #CoffeeChat is with James, an Undergraduate Technical Analyst who started with us through Industry Based Learning. How did completing Industry Based Learning at Transurban help your career? I was able to gain a good grasp of IT Service management under a 24/7 production support team. I learned how to deal with issues - how we spot them, and how we can resolve them. I also got to participate in many operations projects and maintenance works, which I don’t think I would’ve gotten to do elsewhere. This provided valuable learning opportunities and experience that allowed me to develop and enhance my technical and soft skills quite quickly! What's your favourite thing about working at Transurban? Other than my team, who have been absolutely amazing, I would say the various real-world learning opportunities I get to experience. I’ve gained knowledge on various systems and technologies that I never thought I would - from cloud computing to database management - which helped me become a more confident IT professional. And lastly, and most importantly, what do you prefer - tea or coffee? That would have to be tea. I love a good tea in the morning; really puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day 😊
