Check out the new video from Global Health EDCTP3-funded project #SNIPAFRICA! 📽️ In the video Louise F Hill discusses how the results of an innovative trial are meant to inform local practice and future World Health Organization guidelines on neonatal #sepsis management. 💊 The trial will rank #antibiotic regimens to see which best prevents newborn deaths from sepsis, helping doctors in hospitals with high #AMR rates, such as in sub-Saharan #Africa countries, choose the best treatment. 📢 Are you aware of The Global #Ethics Charter for the Protection of Healthy Volunteers in #ClinicalTrials? In 2022, INSERM set up an international initiative on ethical questions related to the participation of healthy volunteers in biomedical research, called #VolREthics. Among others, the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) has been a supporter of this initiative. Its objective is to lead to the sharing and discussion of #CTs best practices at international level, so that each country can decide on the best way to protect its healthy volunteers. 📖 To consult the Charter, click below 👇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/erqHRYAb ------ EU Science, Research and Innovation Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative - DNDi Wellcome Trust Hirsch François Lisa Diependaele Africa CDC
