Great to be back at the #EUCyberActs Conference, where TIC Council had the opportunity to highlight the critical role of cybersecurity in shaping a competitive and secure digital future. On Day 1, Ángel Moreno Rubio, Digital Policy Manager at TIC Council, joined an insightful panel on the interplay between EU cybersecurity legislation. With the EU setting a global benchmark in digital regulation, Ángel highlighted the need for seamless implementation and enforcement. The TIC sector is ready to support this by ensuring trust-by-design across the entire product lifecycle—from design and manufacturing to market access and deployment. On Day 2, Jorge Wallace Ruiz, Cybersecurity Technical Leader at DEKRA, shared insights from TIC Council’s Cybersecurity Hackathons, where experts from around the world collaborated on testing the requirements of ETSI EN 303 645. On March 12–13, the TIC Council International Energy Safety Conference, co-hosted with the API - American Petroleum Institute, brought together key industry stakeholders in San Francisco for two days of in-depth discussions on both current and future safety challenges in the Oil & Gas sector. From vessel access safety and work conditions on board to the safe handling of future fuels and harmonizing pre-work checklists, the conference provided a platform for valuable knowledge-sharing and practical solutions to enhance safety across the industry.
