Mumtalakat announced today, during the 2nd edition of the Gateway Gulf Forum organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), an agreement with the Ministry of Finance and National Economy to fully transfer Bahrain Agriculture Development Company (Gheras) to Mumtalakat’s wholly owned subsidiary, Bahrain Food Holding Company (BFHC). In line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's National Action Plan to achieve carbon neutrality and the recent launch by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, of the National Tree Week initiative, HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mumtalakat, participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the company's headquarters. Mumtalakat and CYVN Holdings LLC (“CYVN Holdings”), an investment vehicle based in Abu Dhabi which invests in smart and advanced mobility solutions, announced today that they have entered into a non-binding agreement to explore a potential partnership to accelerate the next chapter of McLaren’s growth. Mumtalakat local portfolio companies, Masar Group W.L.L and H ALDHAEN BOATS WLL (HAB), recently signed a partnership agreement with the aim of increasing Masar's marine tourism fleet. Masar Group will be acquiring 6 boats that comply with international security and safety standards from HAB, which will contribute to raising the group’s accommodation capacity by 45% (148 passengers) and enhancing its maritime tourism services. This aligns with Mumtalakat’s efforts to promote a collaborative ecosystem amongst its portfolio, achieving sustainable, long-term returns.

The Kingdom of Bahrain proudly announces the development of Bahrain Surf Park, the Middle East and North Africa’s first surf park using the state-of-the-art ‘Wavegarden Cove’ technology. The project is being developed in a partnership between Edamah (Bahrain Real Estate Investment), Mumtalakat's real estate arm, and GFH Financial Group (GFH). Bahrain Surf Park will form the first leisure and entertainment element of the wider Bilaj Al Jazayer development, a 1.3 million square metre project along Bahrain’s southwest coast.
