The latest stop in our series of technical exchange meetings took place this week at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, where our decade-long relationship continues to bring value to USC’s vital quantum research efforts. At USC, our team presented our roadmap, dove into our recent scientific progress, and shared some of our new product features, including our advancements in hybrid solvers. Meetings with our research customers like USC provide an important opportunity to hear first-hand about their experiences working with our annealing quantum technology to fuel new discoveries, while also sharing our progress. One highlight of the event was a compelling presentation by Daniel Lidar on his recent paper on arXiv that demonstrated a quantum speedup in approximate optimization with our hardware.
