This data network has improved the discoverability and accessibility of novel brain tissue data produced by ASAP's international and multidisciplinary network of scientists working to address questions at the heart of Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson's is a neurodegenerative disorder that causes problems with movement, mental health, sleep, pain and other health issues. More than 10 million people are living with Parkinson's, and prevalence is increasing. Multi-modal analysis of genomic and other data represents a significant opportunity to better understand the disease and discover how to slow or stop its progression.
