GreenLearning is so pleased to have facilitated creative expression for the environment along with partners participating at COP28 in Dubai through its innovative eCards! As the post below says, "Through eCard creation and group poetry writing, the students explored artistic avenues to amplify their commitment to climate action." Create a holiday eCard with a climate message! By sending an eCard to a decision maker, learners can express what they have learned through their environmental research and share on the topics that matter most to them. What a thoughtful reflection! Kindly read this post by one of our Board members and share with your network.
Approaching the end of the year, I've looked back at the different connections and re-connections I've made with people across my sustainability profession. I'm truly grateful to have joined as a board member this year for GreenLearning Canada Foundation. GreenLearning is a Canada-wide organization that creates accessible educational programs and resources for K-12 educators about energy, climate change, and green economy, helping students create positive, hopeful change. Last weekend our group met together in my hometown of Canmore, Alberta, to discuss how educators and their students can deeply benefit from sustainability resources that offer diverse solutions and perspectives. I'm happy to share that the most popular blog post on GreenLearning this year was "25 Environmental Books by Black Authors You Need on your Reading List." The list showcases how stories on sustainability can be challenging, complex, nuanced, or joyful - even all at once. A great reading list for the holidays or gift-giving idea for family, friends, and colleagues. https://lnkd.in/g_YCABtn
