It's Groundhog Day this Sunday, and in BC, we've got two marmots on the job to tell us whether this winter will be long or short. 🌨️ On Vancouver Island there's Van Isle Violet, a groundhog that lives at the Marmot Recovery Foundation located at Mount Washington. A born and bred North Vancouverite, Christopher Lee is thrilled to work as Chef de Cuisine at Cedar Spring PARC.   Christopher's extensive experience in the culinary arts has positioned him perfectly for his role. His 30 years' experience has included stints at several upscale retirement residences, where he started as an entry-level cook and worked his way up.   Christopher's love of working with food eventually drew him to PARC’s top-notch culinary experience, and he joined the Summerhill team in 2024, then moved to Cedar Springs as Chef de Cuisine. These days he focuses on creating a farm-to-table approach to sourcing local ingredients and mentoring the young upcoming chefs on his team.
