The equity ratio could be further raised to 20.5%. All Divisions are excellently positioned with their attractive portfolio of services and wide-ranging skills. For full financial year 2024 Implenia confirms expected EBIT of CHF ~130 million and reaffirms medium-term financial targets. All Divisions contributed to the result as planned. Celine Caspersen Ingrid Lamark Amund Elnan Henrik H. Line Sofie Balstad Mathilde N. Implenia Tunnelling Projects: 2nd Tube Gotthard Road Tunnel, Switzerland The Gotthard road tunnel has aged and needs a comprehensive overhaul. For this reason, a second tunnel is currently being built so that the important road link can remain open during the renovation work. It is expected to be in operation from 2030. The first tube will then be repaired. Both tunnels will then be available from 2033. Implenia, together with Frutiger Gruppe as partner of the consortium "secondo tubo Los 241", is building the main north tunnel of the 2nd tube of the Gotthard road tunnel. The project includes the execution of the second tunnel tube north (2TG), the fault zone drive north, the second stage of the precut, the TBM launch section, the cross connections, the ventilation control centers and the exhibition bays. Tunnel boring 2TG is carried out with a tunnel boring machine (TBM) with single shield and segment lining up to the north fault zone. Until the arrival of the TBM in the fault zone, the fault zone excavation is carried out from the previously constructed access tunnel by means of machine-assisted full excavation with partial windows. After the TBM has been inspected in the logistics chamber of the fault zone, it is pushed through the excavated fault zone section and drives the second section up to the lot boundary. SUSTAINABILITY Construction of the second tube will generate a total of around 7.4 million tonnes of excavated material. 1.8 million tonnes of excavated material will be used immediately to produce new construction material. Moreover, around 1.9 million tonnes will be used for terrain modeling and the overburden in Airolo. A further 3.5 million tonnes or so of rock material will be used in the renaturation of the shallow water zone in Lake Uri. Implenia Tunnelling Projects: TELT Lyon Turin, France & Italy Implenia is building Lot 3 of the Mont-Cenis Base Tunnel for TELT Lyon/Turin, the public binational promoter responsible for the realisation and the operation of the cross-border section of the mixed Lyon-Turin freight/passenger railway line. The base tunnel will be 57.5 kilometres long. The tunnel will bring France and Italy closer together faster: With a planned maximum speed of 220 to 240 km/h, passenger trains will take only 1.5 hours rather than the current 3.5 to complete the journey. Freight trains will travel at between 100 and 120 km/h. More infos: https://bit.ly/3yAtE9o #Implenia #Tunnelling #Tunnel #Construction #CivilEngineering #Mobility #TELT20240812

💦 Cool water, pumped up from the bottom of a lake, replaces CO2-heavy traditional air conditioning. Sounds like fiction? Not at all! With the GeniLac project, SIG builds the largest ever ecological heating and cooling network in Geneva. The 30-kilometer underground infrastructure uses water from Lake Geneva and 100% renewable electricity and will reduce CO2 emissions in the canton of Geneva by 70,000 tons per year by 2035. And because sustainable projects require sustainable solutions, we delivered 1852 m of GRP pressure pipes PN16 for the comprehensive pipe network. Our regional Amiblu expert Tarik Zolo visited the Implenia Suisse construction site and shared these impressions with us. Many thanks! ▶ Stay tuned for updates about this incredibly exciting project - and find out more about it in this video: https://lnkd.in/dcTcZEAB #grp #pipes4generations #sustainablesolutions #innovativeprojects
