Meet Tomáš Jochman – Team Leader at RICAIP Testbed Prague 👋   Tomáš is a skilled team leader in robotics and automation R&D at #RICAIP #Testbed Prague Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics. 🤖 With expertise in robotics simulations, virtual commissioning, and developing advanced robotic systems, he’s helping to create a place where collaboration, research, and practical applications of #robotics and #automation all come together. 🦾   His role involves leading robotics and automation projects, planning robot simulations, and programming robots, PLC systems, and applications. Tomáš is also highly experienced in optimizing parts for industrial #3Dprinting, designing robotic workplaces, and implementing safety functionalities in #robotic #systems. Recently, he has been focusing on Meltio 3D print technology, further enhancing his expertise in additive manufacturing. 📐   What drives him? GeoAI Camp PRG 2025 successfully wrapped up – and the results speak for themselves! 🤖 Two intensive days of innovation, collaboration, and technological challenges are behind us and the teams delivered amazing work.🔥 During #GeoAI Camp PRG 2025, we witnessed how #AI enhances satellite imagery analysis, improves weather forecasting, or even addresses key geospatial challenges. What we enjoyed the most? 👉 Inspiring keynotes and tech pitches on the first day of the event  👉 Hands-on AI applications in geoinformatics as our teams worked with real data and showcased practical solutions 👉 Collaboration between researchers, innovators, and industry – the perfect blend of theory and real-world impact And the results? 🤔 In the final presentations, teams showed us how AI-powered geospatial intelligence can transform industries, research, and public services. Their projects brought forward fresh solutions for environmental monitoring, urban and rural development, and improving decision-making. A one of the key takeaways was for example the PoliRuralPlus follow-up project, which showed how AI can play a crucial role in fostering #sustainable regional planning. 🌱🌎 GeoAI Camp 2025 has proven to be an effective collaboration format, connecting small and medium-sized enterprises 🏢 with leading experts in geoinformatics 🌍 and AI 🤖. Moreover, the Czech Republic has demonstrated its strong potential in this field, significantly contributing to European cooperation, mainly through the Adra - AI-Data-Robotics-Association platform (kudos to Philip Piatkiewicz for the inspiring keynote👏), and driving forward advanced AI solutions. 🧠💡 A huge thanks to all participants, speakers, and organizers (EDIH CTU , Plan4All, Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics , Faculty of Information Technology CTU in Prague) who made this event possible! 🙌 

In collaboration with Národní centrum průmyslu 4.0 (National Centre for Industry 4.0) and Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics, we hosted an expert workshop at #RICAIP #Testbed Prague, bringing together leading voices in industry, education, and policy to discuss how #Industry40 technologies are changing the labour market. 🚀 💬 Jiří Rusnok, former Prime Minister and 4th Czech National Bank (Česká národní banka) Governor set the stage with a keynote on the economic shifts ahead.  💬 Prof. Ing. Vladimír Mařík (Scientific Director at #CIIRCCTU) tackled the human factor in automation. 💬 Miroslava Kopicova (Director of The National Training Fund/Národní vzdělávací fond, o. p. s.) highlighted the urgency of workforce transformation.  💬 Panels featuring experts Silvana Jirotkova (ČEZ), Filip Pertold (Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education - Economics Institute), Ladislav Janíček (Brno University of Technology/Vysoké učení technické v Brně), Petra Meliška (42 Prague), Jan Hroch (Česká společnost pro údržbu), Jiří Holoubek (Svaz průmyslu a dopravy ČR / Confederation of Industry CZ) and Lenka Kucerova (prg.ai) dug into the readiness of Czech enterprises and the evolving demands on skills and education.💡🛠️ To top it off, we took our guests on a tour of the Testbed, giving them a glimpse of the innovations that are shaping tomorrow’s industry. 🤖 At RICAIP, we believe conversations like these are crucial, not just to understand the challenges ahead, but to actively come up with solutions that will drive innovation, economic resilience, and a future-ready workforce. 🦾 The foundation of this transformation lies in education and it’s not just about technical skills - we need to prepare young people to approach problems holistically, think creatively, and develop critical thinking skills that go beyond their immediate field. 🤝

The first day of #GeoAI Camp PRG 2025 at #RICAIP #Testbed Prague (Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics) is in full swing! 🦾 Teams are working hard, building on the inspiration from this morning’s program. 👩💻💡   We started strong with keynotes from Karel Charvat (plan4all) & David Pešek (EDIH CTU) regarding the role of Geospatial Artificial Intelligence in sustainability, Philip Piatkiewicz (Adra - AI-Data-Robotics-Association) on Adra ecosystem, and team of Pavel Kordik (Faculty of Information Technology CTU in Prague) focusing on technologies for geospatial solutions, followed by pitches on technological solutions from selected projects, tackling challenges in weather forecasting, satellite imagery, and more. 🚀 Check out some photos below to get a feel for the atmosphere. 🌟   And the event is far from over—we’re looking forward to see what tomorrow has in store. 👀
