The Collective Leadership Institute is an internationally operating non-profit organisation with based in Germany (Potsdam/Berlin) and South Africa (Cape Town). Founded in 2005, CLI has expanded its independent initiative supporting stakeholders from the private sector, the public sector, and civil society by developing and implementing collaborative change initiatives. In Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, the Collective Leadership Institute has provided training for leaders, project managers and change agents from:

• Civil society organizations
CLI's vision is to empower future-oriented people to lead collectively towards a sustainable future. Since sustainability is a truly global issue, meeting its challenges, handling both success and failure and moving towards more sustainable ways of living, are on every leader's agenda.
The CLI builds a global community for change, by building networks and fostering mutual support among change agents. CLI empower people globally to use the methodology of dialogic change and collective leadership for sustainability.
The capacity building programs run by the Collective Leadership Institute are designed to help build strategic abilities and implementation skills in cross-sector cooperation, stakeholder dialogues and collective leadership for sustainability. Professional development courses run by CLI strengthen practical competencies and reflection skills for leaders, process managers and change agents in private companies, public institutions, development cooperation and civil society organizations. Through their programs, sustainability experts at CLI build bridges between strengthening individual self-mastery and collective capacity to implement collaborative change.
