🚀Last week, we had another incredible and successful workshop as part of our ongoing journey with the Arab Women Organization (AWO), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and Collective Leadership Institute gGmbH towards integrating collective leadership to empower Arab women! 🤩🙌🏽 With the enthusiastic participation of the amazing AWO members, we gathered to further develop our regional women's strategy for the next 5 years, led by our CLI facilitator Mai El-Ashmawy. 💪🏼🌍 Workshop Goals and Achievements: Strengthen Team Collaboration: We enhanced a culture of openness and trust within the team to facilitate effective collaboration and communication. Participants rated this effort with an outstanding average score of 4.8/5! 👭 Foster Cross-Departmental Understanding: Encouraged a common approach towards achieving the organization's objectives through improved communication, earning a commendable rating of 4.7/5. 🗣 Mapping Women Regional Strategies: Shared and discussed mapping results for women's strategies in member countries, receiving a positive feedback score of 4.6/5. 🗺 Enriching Regional Strategy: Discussed potential elements to enrich a regional women's strategy for the next 5 years, appreciated with a rating of 4.5/5. Co-Created Action Plan: Developed an engagement action plan for the next 6 months to define priorities and needs for the next 5 years, highly valued with a score of 4.7/5. 🌍 Developed Roadmap: Co-developed a roadmap for the next 6 months to process a regional women's strategy for the next 5 years, also scoring a remarkable 4.7/5. 🗓 Together, we have set the stage for a brighter future where women's voices will be heard, and their needs will be met. 🌟 We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to this dynamic event. Your passion, dedication, and enthusiasm made it truly special! Working in collaboration across sectors, topics, and borders requires a set of capacities for leading change collectively. Increasing collaboration capacity worldwide will allow for change processes to be carried out in a more peaceful, professional, efficient, and effective way that honours the intention of the global sustainable development movement.
