+++ #CTC in South Korea - What an outstanding week +++ Last week, we as Composite Technology Center / CTC GmbH (An Airbus Company) were in South Korea with a #German #delegation from the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz / Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (#BMWK) organised by SBS systems for business solutions GmbH and the AHK Korea (Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry). It took place in the framework of a three years Business Development Programme "South Korea-Germany" that is an export promotion project of the Markterschließungsprogramm (MEP). We also had an exhibition booth for the CTC as part of a larger joint stand of the BMWK delegation at the #Carbon #Korea #Conference powered by #KCANIA, where our CEO Marc Fette had the honor to give a keynote speech entitled "#Lightweighting as key #technology - No sustainable #aviation without #composites" for an international conference session led by Henry Hyunkyu SHIN from DACC CARBON CO., LTD. All representatives of this great German delegation have also provided valuable insights into their companies and associations such as: ✈ Widyanto Surjoseputro I Mahr Metering Systems ✈ Ferdinand Suess I herone - tailored thermoplastic composite profiles ✈ Jonas Wermter I Broetje-Automation GmbH ✈ Matthias Heinrichs I AVANCO Composites & XELIS ✈ Sebastian Schrodt I EJOT ✈ Hufschmied Zerspanungssysteme GmbH ✈ Bastian Roesler, Thomas Markert & Wiebke Adrian I Plasmatreat ✈ Joachim Schenk I PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen GmbH ✈ Dr. Bastian Brenken I Composites United e.V. In addition, Dr. Bastian Brenken as CTO and Marc Fette as a member of the Presidium of Composites United signed a MOU with KCANIA - Korea Carbon and Nano Industry Association for future and closer #cooperation between the associations. In addition to numerous networking events and company visits, we had numerous project meetings with partners such as Korean Air, Hyundai Motor Company (현대자동차), BUSAN TECHNO PARK, Busan City as well as with our colleagues Loic Porcheron and Paul H.
