POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of silicone implants in Europe. Our network of sales partners is cast globally and grows constantly. Since 1986, we offer a broad range of products for plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. Our product range covers various soft-tissue implants for implantation such as breast implants, male chest implants, calf implants or buttock implants. Additionally, we supply breast expanders, tissue expanders, instruments for liposuction and pigmentation, compression bras, scar treatment, and more. We produce quality made in Germany. Our philosophy is to provide superior quality products for plastic surgery and anti aging treatments. Together with our partners and plastic surgeons, we aspire to improve the quality of life and boost the self esteem of patients.

    For the first time, the impact of five different breast implant surfaces on capsular contracture formation has been prospectively analysed in humans. This randomised study, conducted by the pioneering team at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and shared in the prestigious Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, demonstrates that implants like Microthane® and MESMO® are shown to encourage the development of a more dynamic, less fibrotic capsule preventing the risk of capsular contracture compared to traditional smooth and macrotextured surfaces.     Capsular contracture, the leading cause of revision surgeries, has been extensively studied in humans for the first time through a unique prospective randomized clinical analysis of five implant surfaces. The study highlights that capsular contracture occurrence hinges more on the histological characteristics of the fibrous capsule –influenced by the implant surface type – rather than capsule thickness. Notably, implants like Microthane® and MESMO® are shown to encourage the development of a more dynamic and less fibrotic capsule, reducing the risk of capsular contracture compared to traditional smooth and macrotextured surfaces.
