Successful #networking event on #diversity at the Brennstoffzellen Forum Hessen this week! Thanks to everyone who joined the latest #WiGH networking event, this time in Darmstadt, Germany. Speaker Caroline Schäfer and guests discussed how diversity influences innovation and how much it is needed to create innovative approaches and solutions for #decarbonisation. The evening ended with drinks and engaging conversations in this inspiring location at Darmstadtium. WiGH at #COP29 🎉 Together with our partners UNIDO and Hydrogen Council we are happy to announce our engagement at #COP29 in Azerbaijan! At an energizing morning conversation over coffee ☕, we will talk about the role of women with a solid track record in #hydrogen and connect insights on topics such as education, skills development, cultural dynamics, and policy incentives to promote gender equity in hydrogen. An outcome will also be ideas 💡 on what new resources (studies/surveys/training activities/knowledge products) would be useful to foster inclusivity in the hydrogen sector. Key questions ❔ we will seek to answer: What key bottlenecks remain in achieving gender parity in hydrogen? What are the best practices on gender empowerment from around the world, and what can we learn from them? Can the involvement of women in decision-making and community meetings help to improve the social acceptance of hydrogen? As part of a one-hour lunch session organized by Cámara de Hidrogeno #ANDINATURGAS during the "2°Congreso de Hidrógeno y Eficiencia Energética" held in Cartagena, Colombia, Women In Green Hydrogen participated in its first networking space in the country. This gathering laid the foundation and set a roadmap to consolidate the network and strengthen Colombia’s hydrogen ecosystem. Nicole Gutiérrez represented the network at the event. Our collaboration with H2UB doubled the number of women mentors in their start-up programme! As #WiGH, we amplified the call for applications for the sprint accelerator to our community to activate more women industry experts. The expertise and perspective of women should not be overlooked when developing new solutions.   We celebrated the first official meeting for #WiGH in Northern Africa! Our session at the #WorldPtXSummit in Marrakech thoroughly analysed #Morocco’s renewables achievements.   The 4th edition of the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐗 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 took place under the 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐈. Hosted by IRESEN - Research Institute for Solar Energy and New Energies Cluster Green H2, UM6P - Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and Masen under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development - Kingdom of Morocco, the Summit brought together 1700+ participants and ~200 speakers to shape the future of #greenhydrogen and sustainable energy solutions.
