On Monday, we had the honour to welcome ambassador Craig J. Hawke of the New Zealand Embassy Berlin in our labs. There, Kai Bongs and Tasmim Alam presented the prototype of a compact laser clock. Furthermore, Carina Kanitz presented our quantum games that were designed to explain quantum technology to the public. Together with Christian Brand and Dr. Michael Höse, collaboration possibilities between New Zealand and the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. were discussed. #DLR #NewZealand #Quantum #Space
🔬Ambassador Hawke had the opportunity to visit the DLR Institute of Quantum Technologies in Ulm, a key centre for cutting-edge research into quantum-based senora and precision instruments for space applications👩💻📡🛰️. 🔎This pioneering work is bridging the gap between fundamental research and real-world innovation, exemplified by the collaboration between DLR and the Dodd-Walls Centre in Dunedin. Together they merge the advanced quantum technologies with practical applications, driving innovation in both space exploration and quantum metrology 🔭🚀!
