SISTERS clamshell packaging demonstrators has been completed and shipped! 🎉 GAIA BioMaterials AB is thrilled to announce that the final clamshell packaging demonstrators from SISTERS have been shipped to our validation partners! 📍Durante nuestra participación en Fruit Attraction, el responsable de Procesos y Envasado Sostenible, Jorge Barriobero Olarte, ha compartido estrategias para reducir el #desperdicioalimentario en la producción primaria, un reto crítico para la industria agroalimentaria. 🚛 SISTERS, que abarca todas las fases de la cadena de valor, desde el procesado y logística hasta el consumidor, ha sido uno de los grandes protagonistas. El trabajo de CNTA se ha centrado en la optimización #logística mediante el uso de #contenedores inteligentes. Estos ensayos, realizados en colaboración con The Real Green Food Co. y validados en CNTA, han permitido el transporte controlado de productos como el champiñón bajo un estricto control de variables como el CO2 y la cadena de frío, asegurando la #calidad y reduciendo las pérdidas. 🔎 Además, hemos mostrado otras soluciones para la industria, como el desarrollo de #recubrimientos comestibles, que no solo contribuyen a extender la vida útil de frutas y verduras, sino que también generan nuevas oportunidades para la valorización de subproductos. #FruitAttraction2024 #Producciónsostenible #Upcycling 🌱
