[Success story] One of the last highlights of late 2024? The opening of our new, state-of-the-art offices in the UAE! 🎉 Let's take a look back in time! ⏲️ In a first opening celebration event, Egis Middle East and South Asia CEO Alaa AbuSiam had the opportunity to declare the offices open by hand unlocking! Green beams and confetti followed soon after, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Egis in the UAE. 🎉 New offices, improving work conditions of Egis teams and in-house Group brands U+A, Inhabit and 10 Design. 📈 Egis Group CEO Laurent Germain then went to visit the new offices on December 20 in an occasion to reflect on the great successes of 2024 with the teams and have a sneak peek at what lies ahead in the region. Counting almost 3,500 staff across the Middle East, our Group is growing its presence in the region, gaining flagship projects on the way, including the delivery of the newly launched Riyadh Metro, the expansion of Dubai's 180,000m² purpose-built exhibition space, the comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation projects in Abu Dhabi and supervision of Egypt's High Speed Rail. [Appointment] We are glad to announce that Xavier LAZENNEC has been appointed Director of Water, Environment and Energy Transition! 👇 Xavier joined the Egis Group in mid-2021 as Director of Water and Energy services. Prenons l'exemple du cas développé pour la ville de Toulouse ! 👇 Dans cette ville, une stratégie à 360° a été adoptée pour planifier et organiser les réseaux d'infrastructures de recharge pour véhicules électriques (IRVE). 🚗🔋 Quels sont les enjeux ? - Répondre aux besoins actuels et futurs : Faciliter le passage à l’électrique en éliminant les craintes liées à l’autonomie et à la disponibilité des bornes de recharge. - Assurer une accessibilité universelle : Adapter les infrastructures pour inclure l'accessibilité physique (ex. PMR) et numérique, tout en tenant compte des spécificités locales et de l'organisation de chaque territoire. Présenté par Arthur Evrard, Ingénieur mobilité Egis, lors du salon Mobil'in Pulse (anciennement ATEC ITS), le SDIRVE est un indispensable pour organiser au mieux le déploiement des bornes de recharges dans la métropole toulousaine et s'intègre dans une stratégie globale d'électromobilité. 💡 Le Schéma Directeur des Infrastructures de Recharge des Véhicules Électriques (SDIRVE) permet d’estimer les besoins, d’anticiper les usages et de planifier les déploiements. Il s’appuie sur des données stratégiques (données socio-économiques, usages des bornes actuelles, parc de véhicules en vente et en circulation, etc.) pour offrir des solutions adaptées, comme des bornes aux puissances adaptées aux temps d'arrêts ainsi que des tarifications lisibles et accessibles à tous. L’offre de recharge repose sur une cohabitation entre réseaux publics et privés. Leur complémentarité permet de couvrir un large éventail de besoins grâce à des logiques différenciées en termes de géographie, puissance ou tarification. Au-delà de l’infrastructure, sensibiliser les usagers est essentiel. Toulouse mise sur des actions pédagogiques pour accompagner les utilisateurs dans leur transition vers l’électromobilité : événements d’information, démonstrations de recharge ou conseils pour choisir un véhicule adapté. Cette approche globale illustre comment une métropole peut relever les défis de la mobilité durable tout en offrant une expérience utilisateur optimisée et accessible à tous. 🚀

L’ingénieur explique que la construction des installations comme le village des athlètes ou le site de la colline d’Elancourt, ont représenté des défis techniques et logistiques, pour permettre de garantir leur durabilité et leur impact à long terme. “C'était parfaitement volontaire d'avoir des équipements provisoires qui sont démontés et qui disparaissent à l'issue des Jeux” confirme Emmanuel Constant, vice président en charge des sport au département de Seine-Saint-Denis. Dans ce département, comme sur l’ensemble des sites où les équipes d’Egis sont intervenues sur des prestations de conseil, d’ingénierie et de maîtrise d’œuvre, l’impact durable des projets a été un enjeu majeur. En 2025, la capacité du groupe à mener des projets d’envergure pour des événements mondiaux est reconnue et pourrait être sollicitée demain, notamment pour les Jeux Olympiques de Los Angeles en 2028. GPS data from mobile phones offers an innovative solution by providing recent and continuous data from 4 billion observations, covering 6% of the French population. Why use GPS data? - Real-time vision: Continuous monitoring across the whole country. - Reliable, massive data: 3.4 million devices analysed, revealing trends consistent with traditional surveys (e.g. 4.1 journeys/day in Lyon). - Versatility: Applicable to various urban contexts, from medium-sized towns to major cities. A l'issue des Jeux de Paris 2024, la Seine-Saint-Denis porte l’héritage de projets qui transforment les territoires plus rapidement que sans l'accélérateur qu'a été Paris 2024 ! L'apport d'Egis au territoire, dans le cadre du partenariat avec Paris 2024, a contribué à le moderniser et créer de nouvelles opportunités économiques pour la région. "Les Jeux ont considérablement accéléré le rythme.
