We had the pleasure of bringing together 49 Business Unit managers from 22 different countries, creating a vibrant and diverse learning environment. This week-long intensive management program is more than just training; it’s about equipping our leaders with the skills to Build Better Together. ✅Investing in our people for collective success At Soletanche Freyssinet, we believe in the power of continuous development. [Environmental worldwide training program] 🌿 To support our ambitious CO2 reduction targets - 40% reduction in Scopes 1 & 2 and 20% reduction in Scope 3 by 2030 - since the beginning of the year, we have established a global training program for our environmental business line teams. The program aims to provide them with comprehensive knowledge on critical topics such as:   👉 Climate change impacts  👉 Scope 1, 2, and 3 CO2 reporting & targets 👉 Fuel consumption reduction 👉 Low Carbon Concrete 👉 CO2 Trajectory 👉 Corporate sustainability reporting directive 👉 Taxonomy To date, nearly 300 business line employees worldwide have completed the training. [Partnership and sporting challenge with Cancer@Work]   🚴♀️🤸♂️We took part in a sporting challenge from June 3rd to 30th, 2024, to support Cancer@Work and promote greater inclusion of people with long-term illnesses.   Cancer@Work is a unique network of companies in France dedicated to integrating people affected by cancer and chronic illness into the professional world. The association works to mobilize companies, encourage the sharing of best practices, and facilitate the continued employment of individuals with illnesses.   💪14 teams from Soletanche Freyssinet in France took up the challenge with enthusiasm, committing to take part in various sporting activities and quizzes for the cause, through an app. Their registration helped raise funds to finance the association's solidarity actions, in particular free workshops to support people with cancer or chronic illness in their return to employment. [📢 Nouveau contrat] Soletanche Bachy participera, au sein du groupement IRIS, à la conception-réalisation de la #Ligne15Est du Grand Paris Express de Bobigny à Saint-Ouen ! 🚇 La Société des grands projets a attribué au groupement IRIS, dont le mandataire est Bouygues Travaux Publics, le marché 15 Est-2 de conception-réalisation de la ligne 15 Est du Grand Paris Express qui va de Bobigny à Saint-Ouen, pour un montant global de 1,087 milliard d’euros. Le projet comprend : ➡️ la réalisation de 4 nouvelles gares (Stade de France, Mairie d’Aubervilliers, Fort d’Aubervilliers et Drancy – Bobigny) et des travaux d’aménagement dans la gare Saint-Denis – Pleyel ➡️ le creusement d’un tunnel d’environ 5,5 km ainsi que l’aménagement de 2,5 km de tunnel existant ➡️ la réalisation de 4 nouveaux ouvrages de service et l’aménagement de 3 ouvrages de service existants ➡️ la réalisation de projets immobiliers au-dessus des gares Mairie d’Aubervilliers et Drancy – Bobigny 🛠️ Au sein du sous-groupement Gares & Tunnels, nos équipes auront l’occasion de déployer tout leur savoir-faire de paroi moulée à grande profondeur sur la gare Mairie d’Aubervilliers notamment. Les premiers travaux de fondations spéciales sont attendus pour mi-2025 et pendant un pic de 4 mois (fin 2025 - début 2026), 8 Hydrofraises excaveront les terrains du Nord de Paris. Le tunnel s’intégrera dans un environnement urbain dense, avec une profondeur moyenne de 30 mètres et traversera plusieurs infrastructures sensibles. Les travaux de creusement seront réalisés à travers différents horizons géologiques. 🌱 Le groupement s’attachera à déployer de nombreux efforts pour réduire l’empreinte environnementale des travaux, en privilégiant le réemploi des matériaux, l’utilisation de béton bas carbone pour les soutènements et les infrastructures des gares et ouvrages de service, et l’utilisation de béton fibré à faible intensité carbone pour les voussoirs du tunnel, le recours à des véhicules et engins électriques de chantier qui participent à la réduction des émissions de CO2. À terme, la mise en service de la ligne 15 Est, prévue en 2031, améliorera significativement la mobilité de 675 000 Franciliens et contribuera à l’attractivité de ce territoire. 👏 Soletanche Bachy est très fier de contribuer à ce projet majeur au service de la mobilité. 🌍 [2024 Soletanche Freyssinet Convention in Barcelona!]   From June 4th to 6th, we had the pleasure of hosting our triennial Soletanche Freyssinet Convention in the city of Barcelona.   📊💼 This event brought together 170 top managers from all of our Business Units around the world.   🚀🌱The purpose was for us all to discuss major topics such as our strategic plans, safety, environment, technical offers, attractiveness of our companies and much more. ⛑🛠   It was a pleasure to connect with everyone and share these exciting moments.   We look forward to reuniting in three years, somewhere around the world, to pursue our journey together!   Special thanks to Pierre Anjolras, VINCI’s Chief Operating Officer – Chairman of VINCI Construction as well as Isabelle Spiegel, VINCI’s Vice-President Environment, for their participation.   Thank you also to all the speakers who made this event possible through their collaboration, to Force Rose and Jean-Philippe Hunault and his team On Air productions.
