From London to Stockholm, Warsaw and Madrid, this year we're inviting everyone to “Elevate and Celebrate”! The events take place across October at 14 Westfield destinations, giving our visitors a chance to discover the hottest trends of the year through brand interactions, creative activations and content partnerships that give everyone the chance to #elevate themselves and #celebrate each other. Each participating Westfield destination is offering visitors a wide array of initiatives from live Q&As with an influencer to sessions with a professional photographer. All initiatives have been designed to encourage our visitors to embrace their individuality while spending quality time unwinding with friends and family. Laura Waters and Chris Betts, General Managers, respectively, at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, have had a busy few months! 👕🕶 Westfield Stratford City has welcomed Sunglass Hut and Ray-Ban, while Khaadi Corporation and The White Company have both expanded. Victoria’s Secret & Co. and Next are making a return to the centre, joining sleepwear brand Peter Alexander, which will take up residence at both UK destinations. ⌚️🎎 At Westfield London, the Chinese toy store POP MART and Asian-inspired homeware brand KENJI (UK) LIMITED both open soon. Hello Westfield Ruhr Park! 🎉 We are thrilled to announce that Ruhr Park in Bochum, one of Germany’s largest shopping and leisure destinations, has just joined the Westfield family! In its 60th anniversary year, Westfield Ruhr Park becomes the third destination in Germany to bear our iconic, international brand, alongside Westfield Centro in Oberhausen and our development project Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. This rebranding marks a significant milestone, enhancing the flagship destination’s appeal and further contributing to the attractiveness of the Ruhr region. The grand rebranding event on September 26 was a spectacular celebration featuring a live concert by German singer-songwriter Nico Santos, who performed his hits in front of 3,000 fans. With over 150 stores, restaurants and entertainment concepts spanning more than 118,700 m², Westfield Ruhr Park in Bochum joins a network of 39 other Westfield flagship destinations across Europe and the US, delivering exceptional brand experiences, unique events, unprecedented customer journeys and industry-leading sustainable commitments. Basketball, skateboarding, para-rugby, breakdancing, parkour, BMX, blind and street football – the summer of sport burst into Westfield Forum des Halles with a massive adidas activation designed to encourage young people to discover and practice nine urban sports and parasports 🛹 ⚽️ 🏉 ⛹️♀️ For five weeks, from July 27 to September 1, adidas GROUNDPARIS showcased sports demonstrations and competitions, athlete appearances, music performances and more, attracting over 1 million visitors, with 4.6 million visitors exposed to the on-site campaign, and an engagement rate of more than 80% 🥇🔥 All visitors had the chance to join in and try out new sports, buy sportswear from the famous three-stripe brand and enjoy hip-hop shows by some of France's hottest artists, including Ronisia and Djadja & Dinaz. French-American basketball player Tony Parker met with fans while French footballer Djibril Cissé posed for selfies with the crowd. It all culminated in a grand finale on September 1, with electrifying performances by rappers Ninho and Niska 🎤🎶 One of Westfield Rise's biggest ever brand activations, the event was an enormous success, creating memories for thousands of visitors under Westfield Forum des Halles' iconic canopy. Highlights of the store at the shopping and leisure destination in Oberhausen are two show bikes that showcase the brand's unique design, the opportunity for visitors to take test rides and a 3D configurator to customize dream electric motorbikes. Our UK teams and retail media agency Westfield Rise recently worked with the suicide-prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), to create this thought-provoking installation at Westfield London. "Missed Birthdays" comprises 6,929 brightly coloured balloons, each representing one young life lost to suicide in the UK over the past decade and illustrating all the birthdays that were never celebrated. "Missed Birthdays" by Campaign Against Living Miserably Westfield London is honoured to support and host a powerful installation by the suicide prevention charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and adam&eveDDB in observance of World Suicide Prevention Day today. The display in the Atrium features 6,929 brightly coloured balloons, each representing a young life lost to suicide over the past decade. As it so effectively illustrates all the birthdays that weren't celebrated, the work aims to raise awareness of youth suicide and encourage conversation. Visitors can engage further by scanning QR codes located throughout to discover personal stories, voice notes from friends and family, photographs and memories - and, most importantly, a hope for the future. The installation will be on display until 11th September, with CALM staff available daily from 11am to 7pm to promote suicide prevention and mental health awareness. An incredible campaign, and we hope it sparks conversation and brings together a community to help end youth suicide for good. “When we get to a point that we can talk about suicide, then we can take it out of the shadows and we can confront it.” - Chief Executive Simon Gunning at CALM.

"Yes" to sporting records, "no" to climate records! In a summer where many world records were broken by top athletes, the WWF-France teamed up with Westfield Rise to run its "Records Not To Be Broken" campaign in our French destinations. Reminding us that some records should not be broken – such as the hottest year on record – and focusing attention on the climate crisis and the impact it has on all forms of life, the WWF France campaign has been displayed at our 17 shopping centres in France since the beginning of August and will run until September 9 on more than 500 screens, engaging our visitors in the fight against climate change. This partnership aligns with our Better Places commitments to engage our visitors through sustainability-driven experiences and inspire them to have a positive impact on the environmental transition and to live more sustainably.
