"South Korean conglomerate @Lotte Group will bring the country's largest distribution center online by the end of January, cutting shipping times to cope with an increasingly competitive e-commerce market. The company built a 50-meter-tall facility on 140,000 sq. meters in Jincheon, roughly at the center of South Korea, to sort shipments from manufacturers and forward them to distribution centers nationwide. Lotte invested 340 billion won ($285 million) into the center, which is more than triple the size of the group's previous hubs. The site, equipped with 33 km of conveyor belts, can ship 1.8 million packages a day from its 210 loading docks." Warehouse2ZNLT Diana Diziain Thomas S.
