You may wonder why the test track is so clean and shiny. We did too, until we discovered RASCO. The Rasco Group has grown from a small team in Kalinovac to a leader in traffic infrastructure maintenance, metal production, and IT solutions. Their innovative spirit is reflected in products like the Muvo and Lynx Charge, both winners of the prestigious Golden Kuna award, making Rasco the only Croatian company to achieve this. Rasco has supported our team by providing electronic components and materials for the production of HV and LV wiring harnesses, including connectors, pins, and more. They’ve also supplied us with motor inverters, enabling us to achieve the desired performance. 🏎️ We are immensely proud to have them as a long-time partner and helping us clear the path to success. #FSBRacing #RASCO #formulastudent #unizagreb #zagreb #croatia #racing #racecar #formula1 #f1 #formulaone #AVLRACETECH

TIKT’s journey began with a simple idea that has since grown into an industry-leading legacy. Today, their high quality and precision engineered components, ranging from wheel hubs to rocker mounts, provide the reliability that powers top sports cars. TIKT's suspension and brake system components form the backbone of our race car's performance, while parts like the upright and wheel hub ensure rigid, low mass wheel assemblies. More than just a supplier, they are a true partner, regularly visiting our garage and supporting us at every step to help us improve. Thank you, TIKT , for being an integral part of our team! 💪🏻 #FSBRacing #TIKTSponsor #TIKTpreformance #PrecisionInMotion #AVLRACETECH #formulastudent #unizagreb #zagreb #croatia #racing #racecar #formula1 #f1 #formulaone

Every formula car needs a team, and behind our team, from day one, has been the unwavering support of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. The FSB’s support for our racing team has made a meaningful impact, not only in the Formula Student world, but also on individual students, who have discovered their passions, gained experience, and laid the foundation for successful careers. The faculty and mentors have provided us with invaluable practical insights and encouragement. 🤝 They’ve equipped us with the skills and tools needed to succeed. Thank you, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, for standing by our side, from the first idea of the Racing Team 21 years ago to where we are today. A huge thank you to our friend and sponsor Matej Jelic, the creative genius behind the Martini Shot Glass, for all the magic he's brought to our team! From the track to the edit suite, Matej’s incredible vision and unmatched talent have helped us tell our story in ways we never thought possible. Every frame, every shot, every detail—he’s the one making it come to life. Whether it’s capturing the adrenaline of race day or showcasing the spirit of the team, Matej’s work has always been top-notch, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have him on board. In the following pictures, you can see some bits of our previous collaborations, and let’s just say… you can probably guess that we’re already cooking up something new. Stay tuned!

[2024 FSP OVERALL EV WINNERS] The last competition of the season didn't start the way we were hoping for. Two huge issues almost became unsolvable problems for the technical inspections. Still, selflessness and determination coupled with a hint of luck made everything possible. The two parts that gave us headaches were lap belts and rear brake calipers that due to the wear and tear didn't pass the mechanical inspection. The main problem with replacing such specific mission-critical components is the delivery time - we could have ordered new ones, but they simply wouldn't arrive in time for us to race. That's why we need to thank Proton Dynamic for lending us their spare lap belts! The brake caliper story is a bit different. Luckily, we have had some spare ones in our garage, 1000km away from us. Having them in the pit on time required a perfect logistic venture. With the help of our team in Zagreb, we achieved just that. After learning in the evening that we needed new brake calipers, we set them on a long journey: by car to Zadar, followed by a flight to Warsaw, arriving at our pit at 9:30 AM the very next morning! With those issues out of the way, we were able to pass all the inspections just in time to have one Skidpad run. Unfortunately, a bit of oil on the brake line during post-inspection meant the run wasn’t valid. A couple of hours later it was time for the Acceleration and also the point at which this rollercoaster of emotions became pure joy. By securing P2 in the Acceleration our hopes were up once again. In the next two days, Martes was as ready as ever and you can see that in the results - P2 in Autocross followed by P1 in the Endurance, the crown discipline of the race week. Great results followed from the static disciplines as well: P1 in the Engineering Design Event, P1 in Cost & Manufacturing, and P3 in the Business Plan Presentation. All these results led to us topping the Formula Student Poland Overall EV leaderboard! The perfect way to finish the season! A massive thank you to our sponsors, alumni, family, and friends. Your unwavering support made all the difference!

Let's take a short break from Formula Student Poland to reflect on our home competition - Formula Student Alpe Adria. The competition could not have started better, with us finishing the technical inspections in record time. This early success gave us two full days to strategically plan our Acceleration and Skidpad runs, allowing us to maximize our results. Minor issues cropped up during the Autocross, where our drivers managed only two representative laps out of the four available due to technical difficulties. However, we identified and resolved the issue just in time for Endurance. The Endurance event went smoothly, with both our drivers delivering strong performances during their stints. They managed to set a very competitive time, but unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be, as Martes didn’t pass post-scrutineering due to an oil leak. On a positive note, we learned a lot from this experience and had the chance to meet some incredible new people. The knowledge and connections we gained here will be invaluable as we move forward.
