Did you know that more than half of food waste occurs at home? Much of it stems from confusion surrounding Best Before dates. Best Before dates are all about optimal quality, meaning if unopened and stored correctly, it’s perfectly fine to look, smell, and taste to assess if a product past its date is still good to eat.
