Enterprise Ireland have played a key role in supporting LUMA Vision from the very beginning and continue to do so to this day. From our origins in BioInnovate Ireland, through commercialisation fund partnering with Trinity College Dublin and University of Galway, investing in our funding rounds, DTIF grant and supporting EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland, Enterprise Ireland have been part of every step of the journey with myself, my co-founder Christoph Hennersperger and the whole team at LUMA Vision. It takes a village to raise a start-up through its many stages and its vital to have support from our key stakeholders such as EI . Their support has helped us accelerate our development and mission to help the millions of people around the world suffering from cardiac diseases. There is lot more to come and we look forward to working closely on the innovation journey with EI. The pursuit for knowledge never stops. For 20 weeks, I immersed myself in a medical device and digital health innovation programme. From thought-provoking lectures to insightful conversations with successful professionals, I’ve gained valuable insights and truly learned to structure the innovation process through a needs-centric approach. The BioInnovate Ireland course at the University of Galway was a great experience.
