This month, we are taking action both in our offices and at our sites to unite as one team in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we’re turning awareness into action. Breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide, with approximately 2.3 million new cases diagnosed each year. It accounts for one in eight cancer cases across both sexes and a quarter of all cancers in women. Many of us have been personally impacted by breast cancer—whether through a colleague, friend, loved one, or our own experience. This October, we call on everyone to join us, as we raise awareness and contribute to the fight against this condition. We are raising funds for two incredible charities: the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (IRE) and Prevent Breast Cancer (UK), both dedicated to researching, preventing, and protecting those affected. #DesignerGroup #Fundraising #breastcancerawarenessmonth

"It’s Time to Prioritise Mental Health in the Workplace" This year’s World Mental Health Day theme serves as a powerful reminder of the vital role mental health plays in all our lives. In the construction sector, safety and mental health are crucial part of overall well-being. At Designer Group, we remain committed to raising awareness and taking action to support wellbeing in the workplace. As part of these efforts, we’re proud to once again participate in the CIF Construction Safety Campaign 2024. Kicking off a bit earlier this year, we were honored to have The Lighthouse Charity team visit one of our sites. They delivered an inspiring session, sharing their personal experiences and reinforcing the importance of positive mental health and well-being.
