Glanua’s Gareth Bleach, José Horta, Amy Colton and Gavin Hannon had the privilege of attending the GOAL Global #Watershare #Hackathon at Dublin City University. The Hackathon, a first of its kind, hosted by GOAL Global, Uisce Éireann Irish Water and Dublin City University, brought together over 90 people from across the water industry to address real world water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) challenges in vulnerable communities across Africa and Syria. We were honoured to have contributed to such an important cause and our team were thrilled to win the #Sustainability prize on the day for our solution on Greywater Management in Refugee Camps. Thanks to GOAL Global, Water-share Ireland, Uisce Éireann Irish Water and all the participants for organising this event. There was great energy and passion in the room and we were delighted to support it. We're already looking forward to the next one! We would encourage any organisation to explore supporting the Watershare Ireland cause going forward, if we can support you in joining this excellent cause, please feel free and reach out to us or visit https://lnkd.in/gccc4vzj 🌍 💦💚 #Hack4WASH #Sustainability #Glanua #GOALGlobal #WaterShareIreland #Water

Glanua presented on 8 #critical #risks in O&M, highlighting activities that, if not managed properly, could lead to serious injury or fatality. Glanua offer full life-cycle support to ensure the efficient functioning of municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities. We manage O&M at 63 sites across Ireland, with a dedicated team of 50 strong, producing 90 million litres of drinking water and treating 20 million litres of wastewater daily.
