Peri reposted this
It was an honor to be nominated alongside these brave and innovative entrepreneurs at the Enterprise Ireland HPSU Founder of the Year event last night: Barry Mc Cann, Mike McGrath, Alison Liddy (Ph.D), ⚡️Raj L., Criona Turley, Darren O'Reilly, Mark Kirwan and Aidan Finn. Two women’s health companies were among the four selected from the nine put forward by fellow entrepreneurs. That is a win for entrepreneurs working in women’s health! High five NUA SURGICAL! Developing Peri to this stage has been an exciting journey, filled with all the key ingredients that startups need to build a resilient business: challenges, solutions, frustrations, celebrations, breakthroughs, setbacks, pivots, advisors, and teamwork. Donal O'Gorman and I are so happy to have received the HPSU award on behalf of the Peri team and our advisors who have traveled this journey with us, helping us build the case that was pitched to the judges yesterday. It was a team effort that was recognized, and the best part is that this team is ready for the challenges and wins ahead. We are so proud of Vitoria Fahed and Alish Kerr for the groundbreaking work they are doing in AI/ML, which will enable Peri to change the conversation around perimenopause and help women live the healthy, productive lives they deserve. Thank you to John Carr and Liam Casey for your support from day one, guiding us through hardware design, manufacturing, and market access strategy. Thank you, Emer O'Donnell (Callery) for your support throughout the year in the HPSU Founders Forum and for all the encouragement from my fellow founders in my group: Elle Sander, Fiona Luciani, Niall Collins, Ivan Wahlrab, @Niel R You are all incredible in your fields, and I look forward to growing Peri alongside your companies! Thank you to Enterprise Ireland for hosting the event and for all the support we have been given to date, including our support from our current DA Deirdre O'Neill and previous DA Cepta Duffy. And of course a big thank you to the judging panel for their vote of confidence: Kieran McLoughlin, Jenny Melia, Aileen Hayes and Eddie Dillon.
