CMS was founded in 1969. From the very outset, company’s specific vocation was reflected in the company’s strategic decision-making procedures, namely to construct high-technology machines for processing materials, with a marked focus on our customers’ processing needs. While leaving intact the ‘DNA’ that makes CMS its technological partner of excellence, the Group coordinates, supports and develops a system of industrial excellences − with a broad international outreach and penetration, and with a marked capacity for investment research and development.

Somebody says that companies have no soul, but that’s a view we don’t agree with. Today our soul has a name and a surname, two eyes, and a big heart. We won’t even mention the extraordinary professionalism - it’s recognized worldwide, and we experience it every day -. Michael Crosby has been with us for 31 years and has made history for CMS SpA and CMS North America, Inc.. It’s hard for us to believe that starting from January 2025, he’ll be retiring, and we may not see or hear from him every day. We write "may" because we’re sure that Mike will never truly leave us. He’ll still be with us, perhaps in a different way, taking a little more time for himself, but still with us for a long time to come. Finding a way to thank him for this wonderful journey together is truly challenging; everything seems a bit too simple. But what else can we say... Thank you, Mike! For what you’ve taught us, for all you’ve done for CMS, and for the person you are! We love you and you’re part of our family.
