PiovanGroup receives the 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐝'𝐎𝐫𝐨 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 for its continuous investment in the Chinese market On 15th June the Panda d'oro - Marco Polo 2024 award ceremony took place and PiovanGroup was awarded for its strong investment in the Chinese market. The Panda d'Oro is an award ceremony that is recognised as a unique opportunity to publicly reward the achievements of companies in the previous year and to promote Made in Italy and the Italian lifestyle in China as core values of the CICC. PiovanGroup has been honoured with this award as a company that was able to increase its competitiveness in the Chinese market by investing in innovation and implementing strategies with a sustainable impact on the economy, society and the environment. Flavio Zaghini, CEO Asia of PiovanGroup, who received the Panda d'Oro award, said: "PiovanGroup is constantly investing in the Chinese market. This year will be an important milestone in our history with the opening of our new plant in Suzhou (SND) expected by the end of 2024. With a total surface area of 15,000 square metres, the new Chinese plant will be able to produce locally the entire range of PiovanGroup product’s families. This brand new state-of-the-art facility shall also be the new Asia-Pacific headquarters for the Group which, through its own affiliates, can already count on a direct presence in China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam." As well as significantly increasing the Group's production capacity in this strategic region, the new plant among the others will feature sustainable infrastructure - such as photovoltaic systems - and a training academy for both employees and customers’ personnel.

An eventful week for the Group just ended!✔️ Today we want to say thank you to everyone who visited us at the 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 that took place the 12 and the 13 of June. The 2-day event was a unique opportunity for PiovanGroup to engage with industry leaders, discuss the latest market challenges, and present our cutting-edge solutions for PET. Our team showcased our state-of-the-art PET drying systems, which not only enhance process stability and reduce scrap rates but also feature advanced VOC filtration technologies to ensure a safer and more efficient manufacturing environment. Packaging and Recycling Forum at the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum, Arese (MI) has just closed its doors📌 During the event, Pavel Andrushchuk, Division Manager - Recycling at Piovan, delivered a speech titled “𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐎𝐂 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.” The presentation covered the need for enhanced production processes and technologies to ensure high-quality post-consumer plastics and prevent contamination. Innovative solutions for managing VOCs, minimizing energy consumption, and reducing waste and inefficiencies were particularly highlighted.
