On this occasion, we visited the WWF Valpredina Natural Reserve and had the opportunity to: 🐼 Discover more about WWF and their efforts in the #conservation of animal species; 🐼Visit the Nature Reserve and closely observe the #biodiversity that characterizes the area; 🐼Learn about the Animal First Aid center and find out what actions to take in case of need. The United Nations has designated today, June 5th, as  #WorldEnvironmentDay to highlight the importance of protecting the environment and its impact on the well-being of people and economic development. 💡 This year, Serioplast is celebrating by publicly sharing its commitment to the #OperationCleanSweep initiative. This initiative aims to eliminate the loss of pellets and plastic materials into the environment, ensuring a positive impact on biodiversity conservation and the protection of natural environments. ♻️ 🌍🌎🌏 Embracing our #ShapingPlasticforGood mission as part of our Sustainability Plan, we are introducing several improvements, best practices and training initiatives in our factories to implement Operation Clean Sweep's principles across our entire Group by the end of 2025.

On Monday, May 20th, we welcomed the State of Missouri Delegation led by its 57° Governor, Michael L. Parson, to our Headquarters in Seriate. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting the students of the Master’s course in "Sustainability in Industrial Systems" at LIUC - Università Cattaneo. Together, we explored the #sustainability challenges in the plastics industry focusing on the plastic converter market and addressing common misconceptions.
