As the 2025 Honours awards evening approaches, we're taking a moment to celebrate the remarkable individuals recognised in the past two years. Frédéric Jousset's ArtExplorer connects art to a global audience, Nick Entwisle's Yachting Gives Back links the industry with local charities, and Mike Horn's Pangaea X empowers young environmental leaders, our 2024 honourees exemplified impactful change. Our 2023 honourees, Zoran Selakovic is involved in many projects with YachtAid Global as diverse disaster relief, and brings aid to many peoples lives globally, Wendy Schmidt, an ocean conservationist, dedicated her efforts to restoring marine environments and Jenny Matthews founded She of the Sea, empowering women across the globe to achieve their aspirations. Honouree 2024 - Nick Entwistle “Connecting to others is within every yachtie’s heart. I like to think that through our efforts of garnering support, we’ve been able to build a bridge between two communities: yachting and locals of this island.” After decades in the superyacht industry and as retirement loomed, the superyacht industry veteran redirected his passions and set up Yachting Gives Back on his adopted home of Mallorca. Honouree 2024 - Mike Horn “I want young people to explore the world, to experience its wonders up close, and to build a genuine emotional connection to the environment. Nature can take care of humans if we respect and understand it.” Having spent over 20 years pushing the limits of exploration, achieving feats like swimming the Amazon, circumnavigating the equator, and trekking from the Arctic Cape to the North Pole, Mike Horn launched the Pangaea X youth initiative in 2008 to empower young innovators to tackle global issues through environmental and social projects.
