EACC NL (European American Chamber of Commerce Netherlands) hosted a 2-day delegation from EACC Greater Cincinnati (European American Chamber of Commerce) on fostering business development, building new relationships and being inspired by innovations in advanced logistics & manufacturing and agritech. They hosted a lively round table with the exceptional U.S. Consul General Kate Nanavatty 🙏 on Dutch-American relations and shared values, including a personal note from U.S. Ambassador Shefali Razdan Duggal❤️, who was traveling with the Royal delegation in the U.S. On to R’dam, where the delegation was plugged in by Rotterdam Partners (Alexandra Patsa - 潘爱丽 & Zheng Yang 杨正), Port of Rotterdam (Kenzo van Maris) and RDM Innovation Dock (Peter Blokdijk) on the investment climate in the region, the function of the port in Europe and the choices made for a sustainable business environment in the future. Finally, we concluded the first day with a reception🥂 overlooking the city at AKD's stellar office (Vincent Bettonville & Renate Punt-Huizer). The 2nd day of the trip we enjoyed presentations by LIOF (Carin Stroeken & Valentina Marjanovic) and Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo (Sophie van de Plas & Britt van Belkom) on the transition of the Venlo region, not only being a logistical hub towards the main European markets but also boosting the development of cutting edge technologies for transitions in health, energy, digitalization and circularity 👏 . We were very much impressed by Inther Group International (Paul Hermsen and Mike Strijbos) for showcasing their high-end innovations in system integration solutions. Finally, the cherry on the cake was visiting the Kipster 🐓 farm where Ruud Zanders inspired us with his revolutionary story on how he turned upside down the thinking process on the sustainable and animal friendly production of eggs 🥚 🥚 . A big thank you to all the above mentioned EACC members and partners, who worked with us on delivering such a very successful program. What a welcome! EACC Netherlands 🇾🇪 hosted a ‘Meet & Greet’ with all the Executive Directors from the transatlantic network.
