On Tuesday, October 8th, SciLifeLab National Genomics Infrastructure - NGI hosted a symposium dedicated to cutting-edge advances in single-cell genomics. The event brought together leading researchers and companies to discuss the latest developments and applications in the field. The final program for the Long-Read Uppsala Meeting 2024 (#LRUA24) on October 21-23 is now available at the conference webpage: https://www.lrua2024.se/   At this conference, top scientists from around the world will be presenting their results, as well as new exciting applications of long-read sequencing technologies across different areas of the life sciences.   The first two days are dedicated to scientific presentations. On Day 3 there will be sessions lead by the technology providers Oxford Nanopore Technologies and PacBio, as well as parallel sessions on: 🔬 Clinical Genomics - Organized by SciLifeLab Clinical Genomics 🧬 Long-read RNA - Led by Long TREC 💻 Bioinformatics - In collaboration with NBIS – National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden and Sanger Institute 🌍 Biodiversity - Powered by SciLifeLab’s Planetary Biology Capability 🔧 R&D in Sequencing Facilities - Hosted by SciLifeLab National Genomics Infrastructure - NGI and ERGA - European Reference Genome Atlas (BGE)   Over 300 participants have already signed up for #LRUA24 but there is still time to secure a place!
