💡🎉 Following a €120 million equity raise in July 2024, we continue to support TMR in the financing of their recapitalization We have assisted TMR in securing a significant financing package supported by a consortium of leading Slovak, Czech, and Polish banks, which includes a €180 million senior loan and a €110 million junior loan. 📢 Reflecting on the success of this transaction, Matus Kudlak stated: "We are pleased to have been part of this crucial milestone for TMR. The new capital structure, with reduced leverage, will substantially lower the company's debt servicing costs and provide significant financial resources for its sustainable growth." Introducing our newest arbitration team members Zuzana Morháčová and Matej Janotka!   Zuzana is a senior lawyer that joined our litigation department as a consultant. Zuzana has over a decade of experience working in the field of international arbitration and public international law, which includes working as a senior associate at a renowned public international law boutique in London and as a senior legal advisor at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.   Matej studied in the Netherlands and graduated from Leiden University, where he specialised in public international law. Before joining A&O Shearman, he spent 2 years working at the European Space Agency (ESA) as a trainee in the public international law division. Matej has experience providing legal advice related to general international law, intellectual property, as well as privileges and immunities.   Both Zuzana and Matej will work closely with Lucia Raimanova on arbitration matters, bringing their combined expertise and diverse backgrounds to strengthen our team.   Welcome on board 🚢

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Martin Magal, who died in a tragic accident on Saturday, September 21.   He was an exemplary partner and mentor to all those who had the privilege of working with him, but first and foremost he was a devoted family man. He brought tremendous leadership and passion to his job and will be greatly missed.   Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Martin's family.
