As part of our commitment to employee wellbeing, our East region recently partnered with The Lighthouse Charity to deliver a series of mental health talks to the Wittering site team at Harriers Rest. The charity delivered a powerful 'Toolbox Talk' as part of their #MakeItVisible campaign, giving our employees the opportunity to hear first-hand experiences and learn about the emotional, physical and financial services they offer. Andy Richards, MCIOB PgDip, Construction Director at Allison Homes East, said: “The company, as a supporter of The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, is incredibly proud to be helping its site teams learn how they can prioritise and improve their mental health. “Our industry is suffering from a serious mental health crisis, as every working day in the UK two construction workers take their own lives. We are very passionate about doing all we can at Allison Homes to raise awareness of the issue and inspire change across the housebuilding sector. “We care deeply about the wellbeing of everyone who works on our developments, and we hope that the team at Harriers Rest now feel more equipped to help both themselves and each other.” #allisonhomes #lighthouseconstructioncharity #harriersrest #wittering #cambridgeshire

We’re proud to sponsor inspire+’s Sports Leadership Pathway Programme, supporting hundreds of children and young people in primary and secondary schools as Playground Leaders, Young Ambassadors, or as part of the Sports Leadership Academy. Our contribution includes brand new sports kits, which were proudly presented by our CEO, John Anderson, at the Sports Leadership Academy launch at Priory Ruskin Academy, where he also had the honour of sharing a few words with the academy members and attendees. The Leadership Pathway is one of the most impactful programmes the charity offers, and this academic year over 900 children and young people will take part. The programme expands from early primary school through to secondary school and teaches important transferable skills along the way. Vincent Brittain, CEO and Founder at inspire+ said: “We are delighted that Allison Homes are supporting the charity that includes our Leadership Pathway, a programme that hundreds of local children and young people are involved in each year. “Those involved will be gaining many transferable skills that will make them so employable in the future, who knows one day they may be employed by Allison Homes.” #allisonhomes #sponsorship #donation

Every tree makes a difference!🌳 We’re proud to have planted over 3,200 native trees across our sites this last financial year. And thanks to our IT Recycling strategy, we were also able to exchange our old IT assets for 18 additional trees from The Woodland Trust. We planted a diverse mix of Silver Birch, Rowan, and Wild Cherry trees, helping to boost diversity and reduce our carbon footprint! WRAP #allisonhomes #recycleweek #sustainability

To honour Wear It Pink Day, in support of Breast Cancer Now, our teams are switching their usual hard hats for these pink ones to raise money and help fund the charity’s life saving research, a cause that is close to our hearts. We’re also proudly displaying special pink Allison flags across some of our developments to raise awareness of this important day and show our support for the many people around us, our friends, family or colleagues, who may have been affected by breast cancer in some way. If you’d like to join us in supporting their crucial research, you can donate directly via their website: https://lnkd.in/eagMvQuK. #allisonhomes #wearitpink #donation #pink #breastcancerawareness
