Róisín Hanlon from our #Liverpool studio had a great time on Saturday assisting young people with their designs and seeing the finished results presented. Well done to everyone who took part! #FutureDesigners #PLACEDAcademy #PLACED #EnhancingLifeAndEnvironmentsByDesign
On Saturday we delivered our second design session of our 2024-25 #PLACEDAcademy programme! The workshop built upon previous sessions covering architectural drawing, model making and tackling to a client brief. Our cohort split into groups and each was tasked to design an architectural shelter to accommodate 10 people, with an additional function for a specific client and environment. Our young people responded to the challenging briefs amazingly and created bold and striking shelters. We wrapped up the session with an exhibition of their drawings and models. Thank you to Róisín Hanlon for your support on the day and University of Liverpool for the venue. #PLACED
