Last night we were honoured to share in the celebrations of the Binnies Chester office's 50th birthday! From the heart of the community in the Chester town hall, we recalled the great memories we have shared together over the last five decades of enhancing lives, communities and the environment 🥂 Faces from past and present joined in the celebrations and helped make the evening a truly special recognition of our long standing engineering heritage in Chester, and a touching tribute to those who are no longer with us. Many thanks to those who came and made the event possible! #anniversary #engineering #engineeringindustry #waterindustry

An incredible moment for Binnies' Cambell Plant as she came 5th out of 12 in the Paraclimbing category in Villars, outclimbing the other GB athlete in her category 👏 This category is called RP1 - which stands for Reduced Power and is for people with severe neurological or physiological impairments that affect all parts of their body. As only her second ever international competition, a fantastic amount of credit must go to our Asset Management Consultant Cambell, and we cannot wait to see the endless heights she can climb to! #disabilityawarenss #paralympics #inclusivity #disability

An opening event held by the Environment Agency with construction partner Van Oord marked the official opening of the Lydd Ranges Sea Defences scheme, which is now complete. The scheme will help better protect this environmentally important area; the Ministry of Defence (MoD) firing range; and people, property and businesses from flooding. Binnies Jo Barker fulfilled the role of Principal Designer and she is thrilled that the project is now complete and protecting the community. She said, “It was a privilege to attend the opening ceremony and mark the occasion with the client, contractors and the local communities that this project will benefit. This important stretch of coastline is now better protected for the future with sustainability embedded in delivery.” Read more here > > https://lnkd.in/eGUt4Qbf #flooding #climatechangeadaptation #floodprotection
