Hello, 2025! As we step into a new year, we’re taking a moment to celebrate and reflect on the amazing milestones of 2024 at BM3. We’re also still hiring! Current opportunities include Ecologist, Senior Technologist, Intermediate Technologist, and Junior/Graduate Technologist roles. Here’s a glimpse of what we accomplished and the reasons to join BM3: 🌟 Raised £10k for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Paul Shepherd, while actively supporting various charities and inspiring future leaders with mentorships and 13 work experience placements. 🏠 Secured appointments to 4 key housing frameworks, strengthening our role in shaping the industry’s future. 🏗️ Engaged in 300 residential schemes with 80 clients, driving meaningful projects and partnerships. 💪 Joined WISH to champion women in housing and proudly maintained our Carbon Neutral status, underlining our commitment to a sustainable future. 🤝 Attended key housing conferences, staying ahead of industry standards and fostering new connections. 🍬 Celebrated creativity with Frosty Fin winning 2nd place in ‘The People’s Vote’ at Gingerbread City and launched an internal competition to redesign our staff garden area, inspired by the memory of Paul. 🏆 Saw Old Fallings, Queenswood, and Castleward shortlisted for awards, with Bilal commended as Architectural Professional of the Year. Plus, we launched The Paul Shepherd Award for Excellence to honour individuals who have gone above and beyond in their roles. 🎓 Sponsored 7 students, hosted 22 CPD sessions, celebrated 5 well-deserved promotions, and organised a variety of social events that kept our team spirit high and connected. Our #BM3 Landscape Architecture department are looking to expand their busy team by #recruiting an Ecologist: -Ideally full member of CIEEM -A minimum of 1-2 years experience -Competent at Preliminary Ecological Assessments and habitat identification for protected species and ecological management plans -Good report writing skills -Good at preparation of habitat creation and management plans -Familiarity with BNG process -Familiarity with QGIS -Experience with managing Phase 2 protected species survey -An interest in arboriculture and landscape design We offer competitive salaries along with a wide variety of rewards and benefits, such as a company pension, 23 days holiday, sport and social events, and home working. Last week, some of the BM3 team were delighted to attend the open day of Queenswood Newport, an extra care scheme designed in collaboration with Keon Homes Limited for The Wrekin Housing Group. Congratulations to the team at Keon for delivering a high-quality build six months ahead of schedule! As Architects and Landscape Architects, this is a fantastic extra care scheme to have worked on, and we are thrilled with the exceptional outcome and the positive impact the building and gardens will have on the community.

A massive thank you to BM3 Architecture Ltd for having me on work placement this past week. I have enjoyed the opportunity to work on a live residential project and expand my knowledge within spatial planning.
