What a night! Our Quiz Night was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without you. With an incredible turnout, we raised an amazing £2,072 for Gympanzees. 🏗️ PROJECT UPDATE 🏗️ Exciting progress continues at Friary Quay, Bristol, as this landmark office development moves forward in construction. Designed to achieve multiple sustainability and smart-building accreditations including BREEAM, WELL, NABERS, WiredScore, SmartScore, and ActiveScore, the project is set to redefine modern workspace standards in the city. At this stage, Box Twenty are involved on the Client side in reviewing technical submissions from the Contractor design team to ensure that the clients brief is being achieved, with MEP installations expected to commence once the lightweight steel frame has completed to create the new floors in the next couple of months. Box Twenty recently completed a thorough survey of the existing building, and our team is now focused on detailed design calculations and generating Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) system drawings. Box Twenty team had a blast at our recent social event with ECE Westworks, and MCS at Roxy Lanes! We enjoyed a fun evening of bowling and ice curling, and of course delicious food and drinks. It was a great opportunity to see everyone and have a chat with our colleagues in a relaxed and fun setting. The scoreboard shows how tight the competition was, well done to everyone! 🏗️ Project Update - Gympanzees 🏗️ Oakland Construction Ltd. will be forming trial pits for the structural surveys and starting the demolition of internal walls, following last week's service isolation. There is also significant progress on ceiling removal, with approximately 75% expected to be cleared by tomorrow evening. Additionally, Box Twenty is actively assisting with the review of existing MEP services to determine which components can be reused in the refurbishment project.
